Trump: NATO Countries Must Shoot Down Russian Aircraft in Their Airspace
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr zelensky on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly session.
During the meeting, Trump responded affirmatively to a reporter’s question about weather NATO member countries should shoot down russian planes that enter their airspace, stating: “Yes, they should do that.”
When asked if he still trusts Vladimir Putin, Trump replied: “I’ll tell you in about a month.”
Commenting on certain countries purchasing oil from Russia, Trump said: “Viktor Orbán is my friend. I haven’t spoken with him yet; however, I think he would stop buying Russian oil if I talk to him. I will definitely speak with him.”
He also claimed: “Russia’s economic situation is terrible right now. It is indeed collapsing.Ukraine is doing an excellent job stopping this massive army.”
