Improvised Bomb Attack Targets Passenger Train in Balochistan, Pakistan
Media report an attack on a passenger train in Pakistan’s Balochistan using an improvised explosive device.
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Arab News, local officials and rescue workers stated that an improvised explosive device detonated today, derailing five carriages of an express train heading to Quetta in Balochistan province, southwestern Pakistan.
Officials familiar with the incident told Arab News that two passengers were injured.
No individual or group has claimed obligation for the attack so far.
This is the fifth attack targeting passenger trains and railway lines in Balochistan as August this year.
