Trump Meets Islamic and Arab Leaders to Focus on Gaza War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, U.S. President Donald Trump is meeting with Islamic and Arab leaders to discuss ways to end the war in Gaza.
Earlier,Axios confirmed this meeting,noting that it takes place days before Trump’s hosting of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on September 29.
Reports indicate that leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey have been invited to participate in this summit.
Minutes before the meeting began, Trump stated: “We are meeting with Islamic and Arab leaders about Gaza to work toward stopping the war and securing the release of Israeli hostages.”
He added: “This is my most important meeting because we will bring an end to this war.”
Trump also said: “I will be speaking with Netanyahu as well. We want to end this conflict and free Israeli captives.”
