Explosion Heard Near Global Resistance Caravan in the Mediterranean
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and qatar’s Al Jazeera network, an explosion was heard close to one of the ships in the Freedom Flotilla convoy in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Al Masirah network, quoting activists from the Freedom Flotilla, reported that over 15 drones continue to fly above these convoy vessels.
These activists said numerous drones flew over the ships and fired two projectiles-one released smoke while the other fell into the sea without causing damage.
Freedom Flotilla activists confirmed witnessing explosions, unidentified drone flights, and communication disruptions affecting their fleet.
The activists emphasized: “These actions will never intimidate us, and we will never surrender.”
They added: “Our determination is stronger than ever. These tactics will not prevent us from delivering aid to Gaza or breaking its blockade.”
“Any attempt to intimidate us only strengthens our commitment. We will not remain silent and will continue on our course,” they stated.
Al Jazeera also reported that following extensive drone flights, a substance with a “gunpowder smell” landed on two boats belonging to the Freedom Flotilla. However, no casualties have been reported.
The Moroccan branch of the freedom Flotilla announced that after drones fired four projectiles, emergency protocols were activated across all convoy vessels.
