Washington Post: Majority of Americans Do Not Believe Trump Deserves Nobel Prize
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, while U.S. President Donald Trump is vigorously pursuing the Nobel Peace Prize through self-promotion, 76 percent of respondents in a Washington Post poll saeid he does not deserve the award.
The survey, conducted this month, found that only 22 percent of Americans believe Trump should receive the Nobel Prize.
Russia Today noted that these results are unsurprising given that most Americans disapprove of Trump’s performance. Sixty percent expressed negative views regarding his actions on the Ukraine war.
Additionally,54 percent of participants stated that former U.S. President Barack Obama did not deserve to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 either.
