200,000 Displaced and Hundreds Killed or Injured in Syria
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, the head of the International committee for Syria Research stated at a Human rights Council meeting that clashes in Suwayda in july 2025 displaced 200,000 civilians and caused hundreds of casualties.
The report also highlights that the agreement signed between terrorist groups controlling Syria and Syrian Democratic Forces has collapsed. Recent fighting has raised concerns over escalating violence amid the presence of thousands of ISIS militants within the country.
Furthermore, it notes intensified Israeli regime aggression against Syria, resulting in extensive destruction and civilian casualties.
The report emphasizes that Tel Aviv continues to violate Syrian sovereignty by occupying new areas in southern Syria.
