Iraq’s Most Dangerous ISIS Strongholds Targeted
Hashd al-Shaabi forces targeted the most dangerous ISIS strongholds in their latest operation in Iraq.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maalomah, a security source in Iraq’s Anbar province reported that Hashd al-Shaabi forces launched an operation against five of the most dangerous terrorist ISIS strongholds located in the desert areas of the province.
The report states that Hashd al-Shaabi targeted the areas of Al-Hasaniyat, Al-Nukheib desert, Al-Qadhf, Thamil, and Al-Rihaliyah near the Saudi border in western Anbar.
These locations are among the main sites housing ISIS terrorists and their underground tunnels.
The source confirmed that remnants of the ISIS terrorist institution were active in these areas.
