Medvedev: Reports Emerge in New York; Trump Has Entered a Parallel World Again
Dmitry Medvedev, Russia’s Deputy Security Council Secretary, reacted to yesterday’s incidents and controversies at the United Nations General Assembly, and also statements made against Moscow by US President Donald Trump and several European leaders. Reporting from the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Medvedev expressed confusion about the situation at the UN.
Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel: “There is news from New York. The bandera clown has used cocaine and is trembling; the Polish president also has drugs in his mouth.”
The former Russian president continued: “Trump has entered a parallel world again and uttered political words framed around how ‘weak Russia is.’ after meeting with the clowns of Kyiv and Paris, he posted frankly about Kyiv’s final victory, return to previous borders, Russia’s collapsing war economy, fuel queues, and a ‘paper tiger.'”
He added: “In this parallel world everything is different. Kyiv is winning; Russia is shattered; Ukraine’s economy recklessly grows thanks to its resources. Trump’s predecessors-Obama and Biden-have long lived joyfully in this alternate reality.”
Medvedev emphasized: “But Trump is different! I have there’s no doubt whatsoever he will return. He always returns.Perhaps in two or three days he will offer surrender to the green pianist [a sarcastic reference to Zelensky]. Or maybe fly with Elon Musk-who has forgiven him-to Mars. Or do something significant enough for a Nobel prize.”
“The critically important thing,” he added, “is that your views on various issues should be open to essential change-and everything will be all right. This reflects how a successful popular government functions via social media.”
Yesterday, Trump shifted his tone on the Ukraine conflict through a message posted on his social media platform Truth Social. He expressed belief that Kyiv can reclaim all territories occupied by Russia since its invasion.
Previously advocating for both Kyiv and Moscow to cede parts of their territories for peace, Trump now stated: “With time, patience, financial support from Europe-and especially NATO-the restoration of original borders where this war began is entirely possible.”
The former president described Russia as a “paper tiger,” adding that Putin and Russia face severe economic difficulties while urging Ukraine to take action now.
Trump also promised continued US arms supplies for its allies “so NATO can do whatever it wants with them.”
Simultaneously occurring in Poland, a parliamentarian accused President Karol Nawrocki-seen in footage during the 80th anniversary of the UN founding in New york seemingly consuming something resembling drugs-of drug addiction and questioned his fitness for office.
