London Mayor: Trump Is Islamophobic and Racist
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, Sadiq Khan, London’s mayor, strongly reacted on Wednesday in an interview with Sky News to the harsh remarks made by US President Donald Trump in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly the previous day.
The London mayor responded after President Trump criticized England-and London specifically-in his address, stating that he lives “rent-free” in Trump’s mind.
During his speech, President Trump said: “I look at London, where you have a terrible mayor-a terrible mayor-terrible. And [the city] has changed. It’s changed a lot. Now they want to bring Sharia law. But you’re living in another country; you can’t do that.”
sadiq Khan replied: “I think President Trump has shown himself to be racist, sexist, misogynistic, and Islamophobic. When people say things, when people act a certain way, when people behave like this-you have to believe them.”
