Hamas: Attack on Samood Fleet Is a Terrorist Act
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, Hamas issued a statement condemning the action of Israeli army drones targeting several vessels from the Al-Sumud global fleet in international waters. Hamas described this as a terrorist act and dangerous behavior that could lead to more severe attacks against these ships and their accompanying activists.
Hamas stated that this is a blatant attempt by Israel to prevent the fleet from fulfilling its humanitarian mission of delivering aid to the besieged Palestinian people in Gaza, who face genocide and deliberately imposed starvation policies.
The statement called on the international community, relevant countries, humanitarian organizations, and United Nations bodies to condemn this crime. It urged immediate and effective measures to protect this humanitarian fleet and its crews, ensure aid reaches civilians trapped in Gaza, and hold the fascist occupying regime and its leaders accountable for their crimes against the Palestinian people and humanitarian aid convoys.
