Israeli Reporter Reveals Confidential Disruption in Israel Defense Forces
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that the Israeli daily Israel Hayom, in an article by journalist Yoav limor, exposed a closely guarded secret within the israeli army. Limor noted that only a few are fully aware of the details and, for security reasons, even he cannot reveal all aspects of this problem.
He explained that the Israeli military is currently facing a significant challenge in both its equipment and personnel, which some consider critical. The manpower shortage across all relevant areas has raised serious doubts about the army’s ability to successfully complete assigned missions in the short term and meet established standards over the long term.
Limor added that this issue extends beyond one or two units and affects multiple divisions. Some lack weapons entirely; others suffer from shortages of spare parts; manny face both problems simultaneously.
According to his report, Israel’s Ministry of Defense and military authorities are making increased efforts to address these gaps but have yet to achieve any notable success.
He further warned that as a result, units currently engaged in combat or those called upon to fight in future operations will not be fully equipped. This directly impacts outcomes on the battlefield and may contribute to higher casualty rates.
In related news, Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv disclosed that Israel’s security agencies have informed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about an urgent need for rapid agreements on ceasefire terms and prisoner releases under current circumstances.
The report states that both the army and Shin Bet believe Hamas’s primary objective at this stage is capturing Israeli soldiers during field operations.
Maariv emphasized that Israel’s security apparatus has issued warnings anticipating Hamas will attempt to achieve this goal soon.
