Hezbollah Welcomes Recognition of the State of Palestine
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Al Mayadeen, Hezbollah’s Arab and International Relations Unit issued a statement expressing support for several countries recognizing the State of Palestine.
The statement said, “Although this recognition is late, it confirms that the Palestinian cause is a living issue that cannot be buried or forgotten. The world has become fully aware that ignoring and turning away from this just cause while distorting realities is futile.”
Hezbollah underscored that a renewed wave of awareness regarding international obligation for what is happening in Palestine has emerged solely as of the suffering, steadfastness, and resistance of the Palestinian peopel.
The group also called on the international community and all global powers to assume their responsibilities by taking more effective steps to halt genocidal massacres in Palestine.
