Jordan: Netanyahu’s Actions Set the Region Ablaze
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, stated: “We are facing an Israeli government acting with unprecedented brazenness.”
He added that the actions of Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, will set the region ablaze.
Notably, King Abdullah II of Jordan also addressed this issue during the 80th united Nations General Assembly.He underscored that words cannot convey the magnitude of the crisis in Gaza and warned that silence equates to acceptance of the current situation.
The king further emphasized that Palestinians endure severe hardships and denied their rights. “We need a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict,” he said. “This is one of the world’s oldest conflicts and it stems from illegal occupation.”
referring to repeated condemnations of Israeli crimes as insufficient on their own, King Abdullah stated: “Continuous condemnations without tangible action are not enough. Decades of efforts have been made to resolve this issue but have led nowhere.”
