Ezzat al-Rashq: Netanyahu Is a Liar
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Shehab News Agency via Mehr News Agency, Ezzat al-Rashq, a senior Hamas leader, described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments at the United nations today as madness and said the world stands united against him.
Al-Rashq likened Netanyahu to Pharaoh, inspired by the Quranic verse “So Pharaoh summoned (his people) and called out,” saying: “Netanyahu summoned and called out, but no one attended; the entire world retreated. Only a group of mercenaries remained who entered the UN hall applauding to endorse genocide.”
Referring to the UN assembly hall emptying during Netanyahu’s address, he said: “The Al-Aqsa storm has sparked an unprecedented collective awareness that today is reflected in global consensus-to humiliate Netanyahu and condemn his words even before they are spoken. No one wants to associate themselves with Zionist crimes against Palestinians in Gaza-not even by simply listening.”
The Hamas official emphasized that Netanyahu took the stage not as an individual but as a representative of an occupying regime.
He added: “Netanyahu is no longer seen as a disgraced individual; rather, the occupation regime itself is a stigma that everyone shuns.”
Regarding Netanyahu’s speech content, al-Rashq stated: “Throughout history, murderous tyrants have built their narratives solely on lies designed to deceive their supporters’ minds. My summary of his message is simple: Netanyahu is a liar.”
