Colombian President Announces Readiness to Join Palestine’s Freedom Struggle
According to the English section of webangah news agency, citing Al Mayadeen via mehr News Agency, Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced plans to compile a list of volunteers willing to fight for Palestine’s freedom.
He also expressed his personal willingness to participate in the battle for Palestine’s liberation.
Earlier, President Petro stated that statements condemning Israel’s crimes in Palestine are insufficient and that force is necessary to confront the occupation.
He added that those responsible for genocide in Gaza must be arrested and referred to the International Criminal Court.
During his speech at the 80th United Nations General Assembly, Petro criticized the role of former U.S. President Donald Trump in the killing of Palestinians, especially in Gaza, saying: “Trump authorizes missile strikes targeting children, women, and elderly people in Gaza.”
He highlighted global indifference toward Zionist crimes and Western countries’ complicity. “This is genocide and must be stopped. This UN assembly remains silent as a witness to these atrocities,” he declared.
