Relatedly,President Petro stated he is preparing a list to register volunteers willing to fight for Palestine’s freedom.
He also expressed his own willingness to participate directly in efforts to liberate Palestine.
Earlier, Petro asserted that condemning israel’s crimes with statements alone is insufficient and that force is necesary to counter occupation.
He further emphasized that those accused of genocide in Gaza must be arrested and brought before the International Criminal Court.
During his address at the 80th United Nations General Assembly, Petro highlighted the role of the U.S. president in facilitating attacks on Palestinian civilians-especially women, children, and elderly-in Gaza by stating: “trump authorizes missile strikes against children, women and elders in Gaza.”
It should be noted that exploiting its hosting of UN headquarters within its borders, the U.S. government has revoked visas or imposed restrictions on officials from countries protesting ongoing Israeli crimes.
