NATO Official: Our Response to Russian Violations Will Be Firm and Swift
The chairman of NATO’s Military Committee stated Saturday that, based on current assessments of violations, the airspace monitoring mission in Eastern Europe could evolve into a defensive operation.
He added that NATO’s reaction depends on the scale and nature of each Russian violation. Any breach of our air, land, or sea borders will be met with a resolute response.
The NATO official asserted that their intervention against Russian violations has been firm and swift, emphasizing their determination to counter Russia’s reckless behavior decisively.
This comes as European countries have reported drone incursions into their airspace in recent weeks amid the conflict in Ukraine. They argue that NATO must respond to such threats as part of their anti-Russian policies.
Following two similar incidents, Danish military sources revealed they detected drone flights over the country’s largest military base.
Hours ago, Danish police announced sightings of unidentified drones above the nation’s biggest military base-the latest in a series described by authorities as a “hybrid attack.”
Similar claims were also reported recently by Poland and Estonia.
