according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Palestinian Shehab News Agency via Mehr News Agency, Palestinian Islamic Jihad marked the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s mujahid leaders, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, by releasing a statement honoring their consistent jihadist history. It specifically praised Nasrallah’s stance against the Zionist project in the region and his steadfast defence of Palestine and its oppressed people.
The statement emphasized that the Palestinian nation and all free people across Arab and Islamic countries are proud that these two martyred leaders took a righteous stand for Jerusalem. They fought to defend Palestinians against genocidal wars and massacres imposed by the criminal Zionist army.
On this occasion, Palestinian Islamic Jihad congratulated Hezbollah for its resilience against brutal Zionist aggression in Lebanon, rapid recovery of domestic conditions, and blessed efforts to thwart all Zionist and American plans aimed at weakening resistance forces. Special recognition was extended to Sheikh Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah.
The statement prayed for God’s protection over Lebanon and its steadfast people, asking for stability and prosperity. It expressed confidence that Lebanon can overcome this critical phase in its history.
