Israeli media reported a Palestinian ‍attack in the West Bank on Sunday evening. The sources said that a car-ramming incident ⁢was‌ reported near a village east ‍of ‍Qalqilya, and Israeli forces were dispatched to ‍the scene.

The⁤ Hamas movement ⁢responded with a statement describing the “heroic car-ramming operation” carried out by one of‌ its‍ fighters at an intersection in Jit, ⁣east of Qalqilya. Hamas said it was “in response to ongoing genocidal war⁢ against the Palestinian people in Gaza and crimes such as killings,⁤ arrests, Judaization policies, ‍and settlement ⁤expansion in the West Bank and‌ Jerusalem.”

Hamas added ‍that⁣ this bold operation reflects ⁢”the steadfastness of the Palestinian people⁣ against annexation and Judaization schemes,” emphasizing that resistance will ‍persist as long as occupation continues.
