Ben Gurion Airport Flights Halted Following Yemeni Army Missile Attack
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al mayadeen, reported that the Yemeni army launched a missile strike targeting the occupied territories as part of its ongoing operations in support of the people of Gaza.
Several Israeli outlets stated that Yemeni missiles reached over Tel Aviv’s sky, triggering air raid sirens.
Hebrew media also reported that Ben Gurion Airport suspended all flights following the missile attack by the Yemeni army.
The Israeli military confirmed detecting a missile launched from Yemen and said it is working too intercept this threat.
Channel 12 israel claimed that their forces successfully intercepted the Yemeni missile.
In recent days, Yemen’s armed forces have intensified drone and missile strikes against the occupied territories in retaliation for Israeli assaults on Sanaa, Yemen’s capital, as well as brutal atrocities committed in Gaza. These attacks have reportedly achieved their objectives despite Israel’s failure to counter them effectively.
