Israeli Navy Prepares to Attack the “Samud” Fleet
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shahab, reported that Israeli media sources say the global Samood Fleet will reach near the Gaza Strip coastline within four days.
These sources added that Israel’s special naval forces have conducted drills aimed at attacking Samood fleet ships at sea. Such attacks against vessels engaged in peaceful activities in international waters would violate international law.
Last night, organizers of the Global Samood Fleet announced some of it’s ships are currently 366 nautical miles from Gaza and expected to arrive within three to four days. The fleet now consists of 44 vessels and is set to enter a highly dangerous zone within two days.
The global “Samood” convoy, comprising more than 50 ships aiming to aid the people of Gaza and break the blockade on the strip, departed from Barcelona, Spain in late August. Additional ships from various parts of the world have gradually joined since then.
