Mexico Monitors Status of Its Nationals in Samud Fleet
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and the Palestine Information Center, Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Monday morning that it is indeed tracking the status of its Central American citizens aboard the Steadfast Fleet sailing toward Gaza with humanitarian supplies.
The ministry also emphasized its demands to ensure the safety of this fleet heading to Gaza, as well as the protection and respect for the rights of all members involved in this humanitarian mission. Mexico’s Foreign Ministry confirmed it will continue monitoring ship movements through its embassies across Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries where Mexican nationals are participating.
The global Steadfast convoy, comprising over 50 ships aiming to aid Gaza’s population and break its blockade, began its journey from Barcelona port in Spain in late August.Additional vessels gradually joined from various parts of the world.
Despite threats from Israel’s regime and efforts by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet to prevent these ships from reaching Gaza, all vessels in the Steadfast Fleet proceeded together toward their final destination in Gaza.
