Hamas and Islamic Jihad Respond to Trump Peace Plan
The palestinian resistance movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad have responded to TrumpS peace plan for Gaza, viewing it as support for Israel’s position.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Reuters reported that Hamas negotiators informed mediating countries they would review Trump’s plan in good faith and provide an official response.
At the same time, Ziad al-Nakhala, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic jihad Movement, reacted by stating that what Trump and Netanyahu announced is a fully American-Israeli agreement reflecting Israel’s stance on all issues.
Al-Nakhala also added that this agreement serves as a blueprint for continued aggression against the Palestinian people.
