Western Countries Respond to Trump’s Peace Plan to End Gaza Conflict
The office of Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni expressed support for President Trump’s proposal to end the conflict in Gaza and stated that Italy is ready to play its part.

French President emmanuel Macron, whose country officially recognized Palestine as an independent state last week, welcomed Trump’s plan. He praised the president’s commitment to ending the war in Gaza and securing the release of all prisoners.
Addressing Israeli leaders, Macron said he expects Israel to firmly adhere to Trump’s plan for ending hostilities in Gaza.
He also told Hamas that it has no option but to immediately free all Israeli captives and comply with the peace proposal.
The Netherlands
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte responded by expressing hope that an end to the war in Gaza is near. He added that it is now up to Hamas whether they accept President Trump’s proposal.
Tony Blair, Former British Prime Minister
Tony Blair, whom Trump designated as temporary governor of Gaza, called the plan “bold and clever” while endorsing it.He claimed that accepting Trump’s initiative would conclude the conflict and enable urgent aid delivery to Gaza.
German Foreign Minister Johan Wadfoll described the U.S. proposal as a historic possibility to end this devastating war.He added that germany is ready to provide tangible support for implementing the plan.
