Samoud Fleet Urges World Governments to Support Ships Sailing to Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the organizers of the Samoud Fleet stated, “We emphasize our right to free navigation and delivering humanitarian aid in accordance with international law.”
They added, “We urge the governments of Turkey, Italy, Spain, and all countries worldwide to turn their verbal support into concrete action.”
The organizers further declared, “We request that governments supporting the Samoud Fleet accompany these ships until they reach the shores of Gaza.”
It was previously reported that two vessels from the global Samoud convoy are currently about 270 nautical miles off Gaza’s coast.
According to the International Committee for Breaking Gaza’s Siege, these ships still have roughly 500 kilometers remaining before reaching their destination.
