Mardavi: Trump Plan Aligns Closely with Tel Aviv Positions
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Shahab via Mehr News Agency, mahmoud Mardawi, a Hamas leader, stressed that resistance weapons have never been used to attack anyone but only in the pursuit of freedom and independence.
He added, “What happened was an attempt to thwart the global movement toward recognizing the State of Palestine. The provisions outlined in Trump’s announced plan are vague and unclear.”
Mardawi asserted, “We will never accept any proposal that fails to address the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination or support this nation against aggression. this plan aligns closely with Tel Aviv’s positions.”
Last night at the White House, netanyahu stated that Trump’s plan includes a complete disarmament of Hamas and the return of Israeli prisoners. He said Gaza woudl be governed without Hamas or the Palestinian Authority’s involvement.
He further remarked, “Gaza’s governance under an international organization will permanently end conflict in the region.”
