Protests Continue in Italy Supporting Gaza + Video
A group of Italian students in Rome occupied the Lycée Socrates School to protest the war in gaza adn show solidarity with the Palestinian people, according to the English section of webangah News Agency.
Hundreds joined this protest, wich served as a prelude to nationwide demonstrations against the war in Gaza. Protesters urged Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government to cancel all agreements with the Israeli regime.
At Sapienza University, one of Rome’s largest academic institutions, demonstrators expressed their opposition to what they called genocide in Gaza by throwing smoke grenades at the university president’s office entrance and splattering paint.
Together in Venice, activists chanted slogans such as “Stop the war” and ”End genocide” while attempting to block the entry of the ship MCS Melani III into the city’s port.
