Samoud Convoy Warns of Entering Danger Zone and Rising Israeli Attack Threat
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency quoting Al-Masirah Network, organizers of the “Global Steadfastness Convoy” stated that their maritime aid convoy is currently 175 nautical miles from Gaza and will enter a zone described as a “high-risk area” tonight.
They emphasized that any attack on this convoy will be considered an attack on Palestine and that the safety of those aboard depends on international oversight.
The Global Steadfastness Convoy declared in a statement: “We demand guarantees for safe passage. Any assault against the convoy is an assault on Palestine.”
Simultaneously occurring, the International Committee for Breaking gaza’s Siege harshly criticized Italy’s government approach, calling it “cowardice disguised as diplomacy.”
The committee stated: “If Italy truly wanted to protect human lives, it would guarantee safe passage instead of enforcing Israel’s agenda.”
The committee added: “All participants in the convoy are fully aware of the risks involved, but remaining silent in face of genocide and starvation in Gaza is far more risky than sailing with humanitarian aid.”
The committee affirmed that the Global Steadfastness Convoy will continue its mission since their demand to break Gaza’s siege remains non-negotiable.
At the conclusion, organizers called upon countries, governments, and peoples to take concrete measures ensuring safe access for ships carrying aid to Gaza’s shores.
