Yemen Threatens Major US Oil Companies with Attacks
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Reuters reported that local media sources say the “Humanitarian operations Coordination Center” based in Sanaa, which acts as an intermediary between Ansarallah forces and commercial shipping companies, has placed 13 American companies, 9 individuals, and 2 vessels on its sanctions list.
The center emphasized that these entities would be treated according to the principle of “reciprocity,” making them subject to direct threats.
the list also includes firms such as ConocoPhillips and Diamond S Shipping.
As 2023, Ansarallah has intensified attacks on ships linked to the Israeli regime in the Red Sea. The group has stated these actions support Palestinians amid the Gaza conflict.
In a recent development this week, Ansarallah targeted a Dutch vessel in the Gulf of Aden. Two crew members were injured and part of the ship caught fire during this attack.
