Second Wave of Pro-Palestine Ships Departs from Italian Port
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, an Al Jazeera reporter reported that the second wave of ships carrying humanitarian aid is delivering supplies to the large vessel Al-Dhameer. Ten additional boats are expected to depart soon from porto, Italy, heading toward the Gaza Strip coastline.
Earlier reports indicated that Al-Dhameer was damaged and caught fire last May during a drone strike near Malta’s coast. It resumed its journey yesterday after departing from the port of Otranto.
The ship measures 68 meters in length and set sail following necessary repairs amidst support from pro-Palestinian activists.
Currently, vessels affiliated with the Samoud fleet are positioned near Gaza’s coastline in a high-risk area where Israeli forces have previously targeted other ships.
