Second Wave of Pro-Palestine Ships Departs from Italian Port

Media reports indicate a new wave ‍of pro-Palestinian ships​ departing⁤ from an Italian port.

According to the English section of​ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr⁢ News Agency,​ an Al Jazeera reporter ⁢reported that the second wave of ships carrying humanitarian ⁢aid is delivering supplies to the large vessel Al-Dhameer. Ten additional boats are expected to depart soon from porto, Italy, heading toward the Gaza Strip⁢ coastline.

Earlier reports indicated that Al-Dhameer was⁤ damaged and‍ caught fire last May during a drone strike near Malta’s coast. ⁤It resumed its journey yesterday ‍after departing from the port of Otranto.

The ship ​measures 68 meters in length and set sail⁤ following necessary repairs amidst support from ⁣pro-Palestinian activists.

Currently, vessels affiliated with the Samoud fleet are positioned near Gaza’s coastline in a high-risk area ​where Israeli ​forces have previously targeted⁣ other ships.
