Al Mayadeen Report Reveals Details of Trump’s Plan for the Gaza Strip
English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency, reports that Al Mayadeen TV has obtained a copy of U.S. President Donald Trump’s ceasefire proposal for the Gaza Strip, which was sent to Palestinian factions.
The plan makes no reference to Israeli acts of terrorism or aggression in Gaza, the West Bank, or against regional countries. The key points outlined are as follows:
1.Gaza will become free from terrorism and extremism and pose no threat to its neighbors.
2. The area will be rebuilt for the welfare of its heavily suffering population.
3. If both sides accept this proposal, hostilities will end promptly, and Israel will withdraw to prepare for prisoner releases.
4. Within 72 hours after Israel publicly accepts the agreement, all prisoners-dead or alive-will be freed. Following these releases, Israel will free 250 life-sentenced prisoners along with 1,700 Palestinians from Gaza.
5. After prisoner releases, Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence and disarmament will receive a general amnesty.
6.once approved, full humanitarian aid deliveries into Gaza will proceed without interference from any party through the United Nations and organizations such as UN agencies and the Red Cross.
7. Gaza’s administration will shift to a temporary transitional government formed by a committee of qualified non-political Palestinian technocrats overseen by an international transitional body newly established for this purpose. This committee is being formed by Washington in consultation with Arab partners as well as relevant members of the Association of Islamic Cooperation and European partners.
8. A special economic zone in Gaza will be created where tariffs and entry costs are negotiated among participating countries.
9. No one will be forced to leave Gaza; though residents who choose to leave may do so freely with full rights to return encouraged while promoting people’s decision to stay.
10.Hamas and other armed Palestinian groups agree not to participate in governance in Gaza; all military infrastructure there shall be dismantled through a demilitarization process supervised by an independent oversight committee.
11. Regional partners shall provide guarantees confirming Hamas and other factions’ adherence to their commitments ensuring New Gaza poses no future threat.
12.Washington plans coordination with Arab states and international allies on deploying an interim international stabilization force promptly within Gaza; these forces would work alongside Israel and Egypt securing border areas supported by recently trained Palestinian police units.
13.As soon as international stabilization forces take control over Gazan areas,the Israeli military withdrawal corresponding fully aligns with defined criteria related to demilitarization efforts begins accordingly.
14.Israel’s gradual pullback from Gaza occurs under agreements between Washington,Egypt,and guarantor parties.
