Munich Airport Temporarily Closes After Unidentified Drones Spotted
Munich International Airport in southern Germany was temporarily closed due to the sighting of multiple unidentified drones.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency,officials at Munich International airport reported that the disruption began Thursday evening. It grounded 17 flights and affected nearly 3,000 passengers’ travel plans.
CNN reported that, according to an official statement from Munich airport, in addition to canceling all departing flights, 15 incoming flights were diverted to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, and Frankfurt in Germany as well as Vienna in neighboring Austria.
