Algerian Activist: Two Days in Israeli Jail Felt Like Two Years
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Russia Today, Abdelrazak Makri, an Algerian political activist who was arrested by Israeli soldiers during his involvement in the Samoud flotilla and transferred to an Israeli prison, emphasized that he gained a clear understanding of the pain and suffering experienced by Palestinian prisoners inside these facilities.
He added, “It was there that we felt the full intensity of oppression and humiliation from Israeli soldiers. They even prevented medication from reaching patients. We spent two days in Israeli prisons, but it felt like two years to us.”
After his release from Israeli custody, makri was flown to Turkey.
He saeid,”We achieved our goal of exposing IsraelS acts of aggression.”
It is noteworthy that 11 Algerian activists remain detained in Israeli prisons.
