Israeli Prison Guards Physically Abuse Samood Fleet Activists
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah, reported that the Global Samood (Resistance) Fleet management stated its activists, after being unlawfully abducted by Israeli forces, were deprived of initial medical care and subjected to mistreatment in the occupiers’ prisons.
the Global Resistance Fleet added that detainees were physically and psychologically abused by Israeli prison guards during their detention.
reports indicate that detainees suffering from heart disease and cancer have been denied access to medication,alongside severe shortages of food and water.
The Global Resistance Fleet further asserted that the treatment inflicted on its activists reflects the systematic oppression Palestinians endure daily.
Earlier, participants in the Global Samood Fleet detailed abuses they suffered at the hands of Israeli soldiers during their detention within occupied territories.
As last Wednesday night, Israeli forces have seized 42 ships belonging to the Global Samood Fleet while they were sailing in international waters toward Gaza. Hundreds of international activists aboard these vessels have also been arrested.
