Kim Emphasizes Punishing North Korea’s Enemies During Visit to Destroyer Cho Hyun
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, North Korea’s Central News Agency announced that Kim Jong Un visited a military exhibition to inspect the destroyer “Cho Hyun.” During the visit, he emphasized the Pyongyang Navy’s readiness for full deterrence and punishment of enemy provocations.
The agency stated that the annual “Defense Development” exhibition highlights “significant advancements in the modernization of the country’s military.”
Analysts say it remains unclear when these destroyers will become operational.South korea-based company SI Analytics claimed in September that North Korea had finally succeeded in installing engines on it’s “Cho Hyun” destroyers and predicted sea trials would likely take place this month.
