UNRWA: 370 UN Staff Killed in Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing palestinian news agency Shehab via Mehr News Agency, the United Nations Relief and Works agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) issued a statement on the second anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. The agency announced that over 370 of its employees have been martyred during two years of genocide by the Zionist regime in Gaza.
The statement further revealed that more than 80 percent of buildings in gaza have been wholly or partially destroyed due to missile attacks by the Zionist regime.
Despite Hamas’ approval of a ceasefire proposed by former U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli attacks continue across different parts of Gaza.
As the start of a comprehensive siege on Gaza City, humanitarian aid shipments have been unable to enter, exacerbating an already severe humanitarian crisis in this densely populated area.
The escalation in missile strikes has also hindered efforts to locate and retrieve bodies from beneath rubble.
