Mass Shooting in Sydney, Australia Leaves at Least 16 Injured
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and AFP, more than 15 people were wounded in a mass shooting on a crowded street in Sydney, Australia.
The police reported that a 60-year-old man is currently in custody after firing approximately 50 bullets on the street.
Authorities responded after receiving reports that an individual had opened fire indiscriminately from his property at vehicles and police officers in Sydney’s Inner West area.
Initially, police stated the suspect fired around 100 rounds and that 20 people had been injured. However, today New South Wales deputy Police Commissioner Stephen Perry clarified that the suspect fired about 50 shots and a total of 16 individuals were wounded.
