El-Sisi: Peace Endures Through Justice, Not Imposition on Others

According to the​ English section⁤ of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Al Jazeera, Egyptian ‍President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi referred to U.S. President ​Donald Trump’s ceasefire plan for Gaza, emphasizing that lasting peace must ⁢be built on⁢ foundations of justice and fairness, not ⁣imposed.

El-Sissi added that​ lasting security and stability⁣ can only be achieved⁤ through a just and extensive peace.

The⁢ Egyptian president⁤ also thanked Donald Trump⁤ for presenting the ceasefire ‌initiative in Gaza. He stated: ​”A ceasefire in Gaza and the start of a path leading to ⁢the‍ establishment ‍of a Palestinian⁣ state means we are ⁢moving in the right direction toward lasting ‌peace.”

El-Sissi stressed the importance⁣ of ​maintaining the peace framework established by the United States as ⁢the 1970s as a strategic basis for regional stability.He said expanding this framework is possible only by reinforcing ⁢its pillars‌ based on justice and guaranteeing the rights of regional nations.
