Germany: We Will Not Supply Weapons Used in Gaza to Israel

Germany’s ⁢Foreign⁢ Minister welcomed Trump’s plan for ⁤the Gaza Strip and claimed that berlin’s actions toward Tel Aviv have⁤ been more effective and extensive than ​those of othre European countries.

According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News ⁣Agency,⁢ Germany’s Foreign minister spoke in an exclusive interview ‌with ⁢Al Jazeera, ‌saying: “We welcome U.S.President Donald Trump’s plan, ‍which⁣ represents the best ⁤opportunity to reach⁣ an agreement and end the war in Gaza.”

Johan Wadhavol continued: “It is indeed essential that all prisoners in Gaza, including​ German citizens, be released. We ‌are closely monitoring the fate​ of⁢ our nationals held captive‍ by⁤ Hamas and hope they⁣ will ‍be freed⁣ soon.”

He emphasized Germany’s commitment ​to a two-state solution as the path to ‍sustainable peace. “The ⁢reconstruction process in Gaza must begin as soon as possible,” he added.

The German foreign minister stressed: “We have decided not to deliver weapons that could be ​used in gaza to Israel. We urge⁢ Israel to refrain ​from escalating civilian suffering during its campaign against Hamas.”

Wadhavol also expressed gratitude for Qatar’s mediating role between Israel and Hamas. “We ‌are following closely ‍the⁤ horrific humanitarian situation in Gaza and the‍ deaths and suffering of⁤ thousands.Our measures against Israel are​ effective and far exceed those of other‍ European countries,”‌ he ⁤said.

The official further noted: “We ‍do not support Israel’s recent plans to seize Gaza⁤ City. Our goal is establishing a ‌ceasefire in‍ Gaza and delivering aid-including food, medicine, and water-to residents of the enclave.Reconstruction must start without delay.”
