White House: Technical Talks on Gaza Are Highly Sensitive
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, White House spokesperson Caroline Lewitt announced today, Monday, that President Trump will host Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney tommorow, Tuesday.
The White House added that Democrats must end their madness and vote today on the budget bill to end the government shutdown. President Trump is reaching out to Democrats to encourage them to approve ending the shutdown. The government closure continues for the sixth day due to Democrats’ political maneuvers. Democrats deliberately keep the government shut down, causing millions of federal employees to suffer as an inevitable result.
In another part of her statement, the White House spokesperson said technical talks are underway in Egypt between Whitaker (the Trump governance’s regional representative), Jared Kushner (Trump’s son-in-law), and relevant parties regarding a Gaza plan. All sides agree on the need to end the war in Gaza.Technical teams in Egypt are exploring ways to create an ideal environment for releasing prisoners held by Hamas in Gaza. The future of Gaza and Palestine requires security guarantees and good governance.
Caroline Lewitt claimed-without mentioning her country’s comprehensive support for Israeli regime crimes against besieged Gazans-that President Trump wants prisoners released as soon as possible and does not want to set red lines. She said efforts aim at establishing lasting peace in Gaza while ensuring it poses no security threat to israel or the United States. The technical negotiations in Egypt are very sensitive with many matters under discussion. President Trump believes peace in Gaza is achievable.
