Netanyahu Claims: We Are Approaching the End of the Gaza War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told an American podcast, “I believe we are close to ending the Gaza war. Tel Aviv has emerged stronger since October 7.”
He also admitted, “Hamas has not yet been defeated, but we will reach that goal.”
Netanyahu stated, “What began in Gaza will end in this same region with the release of prisoners and the end of Hamas’s control. We have defeated America’s enemies who sought to expand their weapons! The Gaza war must end, and I hope this happens soon with Trump’s assistance.”
The Israeli Prime Minister is trying to demonstrate his willingness to end the Gaza conflict despite obstructing ceasefire negotiations with Hamas over the past two years.This regime has not eased its assaults even after Trump called for an immediate halt to attacks on Gaza and despite hamas responding positively to the U.S. president’s plan.
In another part of his remarks,Netanyahu repeated familiar claims promoting fear of Iran and highlighting its military power.
Regarding Trump,he saeid: “My consultations with Trump are kind,but that does not mean we agree on everything.”
