Egyptian Foreign Minister Outlines Key Topics of Sharm El-Sheikh Talks
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shihab via Mehr News Agency, Egypt’s Foreign Minister emphasized that the Sharm El-Sheikh negotiations between Israel and Hamas focus on establishing a security mechanism ensuring the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.
He added that these talks address unrestricted humanitarian aid access to Gaza through international channels. The discussions also aim to promote unity between the West Bank and Gaza Strip, alongside advancing a two-state solution.
Last night, reports confirmed that the first round of negotiations between Hamas representatives and mediators from Egypt and Qatar concluded in Sharm El-Sheikh. Despite ongoing conflicts, sources described the atmosphere as positive during these talks.
An informed source told Al Jazeera that Hamas’ delegation participated in a constructive meeting habitat.
