Medvedev Snipes at Macron: “France Has No President

Russia’s Deputy ​Security Council Secretary ⁣sarcastically remarked‍ that France ⁤effectively has no president amid its ongoing political crisis in Paris.

according ⁣to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr news Agency ​and Anadolu, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Secretary of Russia’s ⁤Security Council, targeted french President Emmanuel Macron with sarcasm ‍following ‍the resignation of France’s⁢ prime minister less than a month into ​his term and the continuing​ political turmoil in the‌ country.

Sebastien Lecornu, France’s new ‍prime minister for​ less than a month, resigned yesterday.The Élysée Palace confirmed that Macron accepted his resignation.

Reacting to Lecornu’s departure on his ‍Telegram channel and recalling that Lecornu’s government ⁤lasted only 14 hours in total, Medvedev wrote: “France has no president. Kyiv has a brilliant supporter.”

He added: “Macron cares‍ little about France. His policies ⁣have primarily focused on⁢ supporting Kyiv and his foreign partners rather than serving ⁤French citizens’ interests.”

The 39-year-old Lecornu was Macron’s seventh appointed prime minister and the fifth within two years. Macron appointed him ​on‍ September 9; ⁤now Lecornu holds the record for the shortest ‌tenure as prime minister in France as 1958.
