Pushkov: Putin to Visit Tajikistan for Russia-Arab States Summit

Kremlin advisor announces details of Putin’s ⁤trip to Tajikistan and Moscow’s invitation to ⁣leaders of 22 countries and the Arab League ⁢Secretary-general for the Russia-Arab States summit.

According to the English section of webangah​ News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and⁤ Sputnik, Kremlin​ advisor Yuri Ushakov announced Tuesday that President Vladimir Putin will visit Tajikistan from October 8 to 10. During this trip, he will attend the second Russia-Central Asia summit as ‌well as a meeting of leaders from the Commonwealth of Autonomous States (CIS).Putin ​and Emomali Rahmon are set to discuss ⁢a wide range of bilateral cooperation⁤ issues in Tajikistan.

Ushakov added ⁢that during Putin’s visit to dushanbe, matters concerning Russian cooperation with⁤ Central Asian countries across various fields will be addressed. At the‍ conclusion of⁤ talks, Putin and⁣ Rahmon will sign a joint declaration aimed‍ at strengthening Russia-Tajikistan relations. In total, 15 agreements covering diverse sectors are expected to be signed by both‌ presidents.

Moreover, Ushakov stated that regional security issues will be discussed at the⁢ Russia-Central Asia⁤ summit, taking into account ‍developments ​in West ⁢Asia (the Middle East) and Afghanistan. Moscow has invited leaders from 22 countries‍ along with‌ the Secretary-General of the Arab League to attend the inaugural Russia-Arab States summit in Moscow.‌ Work ⁢is​ underway on former President Trump’s​ plan for ⁣resolving Gaza’s situation, with ​many invitees connected to this⁣ initiative.
