According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, U.S. President Donald Trump sent a letter to the families of Israeli captives held by Hamas. in his latest statement regarding these captives, he omitted any mention of ongoing Israeli settler crimes against Palestine’s indigenous residents, which are central to regional conflicts in West Asia. Trump claimed that since October 7 (the day of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm), he has been determined to bring all captives home. He emphasized his desire to guarantee Hamas’s destruction so that it never repeats its acts-described as legitimate defense against an occupying aggressor. “We remain committed to ending this conflict,” he wrote.
The U.S. president also asserted in this letter that he would tirelessly work toward restoring a foreign policy based on peace through strength.
Meanwhile, fawzi Barhoum, spokesperson for the palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), previously stated that incidents at Al-Aqsa Mosque reveal the criminal nature and racist ideology governing Zionists’ conduct toward Palestinians and their sacred sites.
