Syrian Youth Wounded by Israeli Military Gunfire in Quneitra
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sana, Syrian sources have reported recent Israeli military activity in southern Syria.
Sana’s correspondent reported that Israeli soldiers targeted and injured a young Syrian man while he was collecting firewood in Jibata al-Khashab, located in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
Yesterday, Syrian state television announced that the Israeli army forced farmers to abandon their agricultural lands in northern Quneitra, southern Syria.
The soldiers expelled Syrian farmers from their fields in Jibata al-Khashab by firing smoke bombs while they were harvesting their crops.
It is notable that since the fall of the former Syrian regime, Israel has launched extensive attacks on Syria. Recently, it bombed areas near damascus under the pretext of supporting the Druze community.
Since President Assad’s government fell, Israel’s army has continued crossing the ceasefire line separating it’s occupied territory on the Golan Heights from Syria. It has maintained its occupation of areas near Golan within Daraa and Quneitra provinces.
