What Is Happening in Sharm El-Sheikh?
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Samaa News Agency via Mehr News Agency, reported statements from Mohammed Al-Nazal, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, on the atmosphere surrounding the Sharm El-Sheikh negotiations.
Al-Nazal described the overall mood as positive but stressed it is indeed still too early to evaluate the talks.
He expressed hope that U.S. envoy tom Nides would play a constructive role in the process.
Al-Nazal highlighted that the resistance’s strong response surprised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and pushed him toward negotiations.
Simultaneously occurring, sources revealed an ongoing meeting at Sharm El-Sheikh involving Nides, Jared Kushner, David Dermir (chiefs of intelligence from egypt and Turkey), and Qatar’s prime minister.

Earlier, a senior official from the Islamic Jihad movement told Al Jazeera that delegations from Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front have joined the Sharm El-Sheikh talks. The palestinian groups seek an agreement to end their nation’s suffering and stop genocide.
The official added that Palestinian factions are committed to representing national priorities focused on ending war and securing a full withdrawal of occupiers from gaza.
The source emphasized that participation alongside Hamas in thes negotiations is viewed as a national Palestinian demand and has been welcomed by mediators alike.
