Landslide in Northern India Kills 15 Bus Passengers
A landslide-triggered mudslide struck a bus in northern India, killing at least 15 people.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and The autonomous, a mudslide caused by a landslide hit a bus in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, resulting in at least 15 deaths.
Officials reported that the bus was traveling on a rough road near the Bilaspur area when it was struck by a mass of mud left by several days of heavy rainfall.
At the time of the incident, there were at least 25 passengers on board. Among those killed were nine men, four women, and two children.
Additionally, three injured children have been taken to hospital. Rescue efforts continue to locate other missing passengers who are presumed dead.
