Details of the First Phase of the Ceasefire Agreement Ending Zionist Aggression Against the Oppressed People of Gaza
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that CNN, referencing BBC, claimed today that it has obtained parts of the ceasefire agreement between the Israeli occupiers and the people of Gaza.
According to this report, while full details of the first phase ceasefire have not been officially disclosed, a Palestinian source informed BBC that the deal stipulates releasing 250 Palestinian prisoners and 1,700 Gaza residents detained by Israeli forces since the start of the war. The source added that Hamas has not yet received a list of prisoners Israel intends to free but expects this will be resolved within hours.
BBC also quoted a senior Palestinian official who saeid that under this agreement, israel will permit 400 aid trucks per day into Gaza initially; this number is expected to rise gradually in later stages. A White House official stated Hamas will release 20 live prisoners during this first phase.
Earlier, Hamas confirmed its acceptance of the ceasefire with Israel in a statement and called on Trump, mediator countries, and Arab and Islamic parties to compel Israeli occupiers to fully implement the agreement.
