Kremlin: No New Meeting Scheduled Between Putin and Trump
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, stated on Thursday that there is no scheduled new meeting between President Vladimir Putin and former U.S. President Donald Trump. He added that Washington has yet to respond substantially to Russia’s proposal regarding the new START Treaty.
Peskov also noted that talks aimed at resolving the Ukraine crisis have stalled. Kyiv has not provided any substantial feedback on draft documents or relevant working groups. Currently, Kyiv shows little interest in pursuing peace; they believe changes will occur on the battlefield, but the reality indicates otherwise.
Regarding efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, Dmitry Peskov said such attempts should be welcomed.
